The landscape
Construction carries duties that go far beyond the general requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 — CDM — sit on top, naming specific duty holders and the records they must keep. These are the risks that keep clients up at night, and the regulations that govern them.
